What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored so that they can be sent back to the same websites on your next visit. They can be ‘technical’ or ‘profiling’ cookies, first-party or third-party, session or persistent.

Which cookies we use

The kubbitalia.com website uses only technical cookies that are necessary for the site and some of its features to work:

  • Session cookies — needed for the forms to work properly (membership, sign-up). They expire when you close your browser.
  • Authentication cookies (only for admins in the restricted area) — needed to keep the session active.

We do not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies for advertising purposes. We do not use Google Analytics or any invasive analytics tools. If in future we add anonymous analytics (e.g. Plausible, Vercel Analytics — both cookieless), we will update this page accordingly.

Third-party services

The site may embed content from third-party providers:

  • OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap for the map tiles (they do not set tracking cookies).
  • Google Fonts (Fraunces, Inter) self-hosted via Next.js — no external tracking requests.

Managing cookies

As we do not use profiling cookies or invasive tracking technologies, a cookie consent banner is not required. You can still manage your cookie preferences directly in your browser; the instructions vary depending on the software:
