You're reading 1 Three levels of participation, three levels of visibility
Golden rule. We don't sell your data, we don't pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes and we don't put it on the map without your knowledge. We built the site around privacy, not as an afterthought.
Three levels of participation, three levels of visibility
There are three ways to ‘get involved’ on the site — and each has different visibility rules:
1 · Club
Maximum public visibility.
If you're an association, you register your club and explicitly agree to it being published on the map with its name, town/city, photos and contact details. Everything is public, because you're the one asking for it.
2 · Ambassador
Visibility with explicit consent.
If you put yourself forward as an ambassador, your name, town/city, photo and bio only appear on the site with your explicit consent. Your consent is formal and can be withdrawn.
3 · Individual players
Anonymous, always.
If you use the ‘Looking for people to play with’ form, we never ask for your name, surname or exact location. Just your email and town/city. The town you give us doesn't appear on the map: that way, if you're the only one in Cavarzere, no one can tell it's you.
How matchmaking works
When someone signs up with the ‘Looking for people to play with’ form and there are already 2 or more other sign-ups in their town, we act as a go-between: we email everyone saying ‘there are other people who want to play here’ and ask who would like to be put in touch. Only those who say yes receive the others' contact details. We never give out email addresses to anyone who hasn't consented.
Event photos
The photos you see on the site come from the association's events and are published directly on the site, with no links out to external services.
If you recognise yourself in a photo published without your consent, write to us at kubbitalia@gmail.com and we'll remove it immediately.
In short
We don't profile you.
We don't sell your data.
We don't put you on the map without your consent.
We delete your data at any time if you ask us to.
If we get something wrong, we apologise publicly and put it right.
